Bumps......
I have encountered so many bumps in my life.
My daughter had salmonella poisoning when she was 2 months old. We didn't know what was wrong with her until they hospitalized her for testing. That was one of the worst feelings in the world, not knowing what is wrong with your baby.
My son had a near drowning when he was a year old. The pest control man left a sliding glass door open and he slipped out. Thank goodness the caregivers always had a good eye on him and knew he was missing. That was the worst phone call I had ever gotten at work, and never want it again.
My divorce has bought on lots of bumps in my life. Some bad, some really bad and some just we won't talk about. It was very hard for me to ask for it. I was scared of what my future would hold, but I had a good friend support system. A family, not so much. That is just something i had to deal with.
It's kinda funny you give someone something they have always asked for and you become such horrible person.
My life now I can say I am happy, and I say it with a smile. But with that comes bumps, I have moved on, but moving on comes with them too. One thing I have learned is that nothing is guaranteed, even the things that feel completely right. The other thing I have learned, there is someone out there for everyone. You will meet people for reasons you don't understand. You encounter bumps no matter what you do. How you handle them, is up to you. Some of us grow from what we learn from our past, and some just don't.
